This privacy policy describes how Gog-Cli ("the App"), a personal Google OAuth desktop client used by Stan Smith with the open-source gog command-line tool, handles information when authorizing Google Workspace access.
01
1. What the App is
Gog-Cli is a private OAuth client in Google Cloud so gog can access Google APIs (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Contacts, Tasks, and related services) on behalf of accounts the operator explicitly authorizes. It is not a public consumer product and is not offered to third-party end users.
02
2. Information accessed
The App accesses only Google account data permitted by the OAuth scopes the user approved during authorization.
03
3. How information is used
Information is used solely to run gog commands and related automation the operator initiates. It is not sold, rented, or used for advertising.
04
4. Storage
OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored locally in the operator's private gog configuration and system keyring. Retrieved Google content may appear temporarily in local command output or agent logs. It is not uploaded to a separate Gog-Cli cloud service. Tokens can be revoked through Google Account permissions or with gog auth remove.
05
5. Sharing
Information is shared only with Google (for API access) and the operator's own computing environment and tools as needed to execute their commands.
06
6. Security
Access is limited to authorized accounts. Secrets and tokens are protected and are not published.
07
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use by children.
08
8. Changes
This page will be updated with a new last-updated date if material changes are made.
